CARBON CAREER & TECHNICAL INSTITUTE – ADULT EDUCATION CENTER The CCTI Adult Education Center provides quality educational, career and personal enrichment opportunities to the adult population of Carbon County and the surrounding areas. The AEC is committed to expanding programs offered on the basis of interest and need. A variety of day and evening programs are offered in the health medical field, air conditioning/refrigeration, cosmetology, electronics, safety inspection mechanic, machine technology, forklift, welding, residential wiring and plumbing. We also offer a GED/Career Pathways Program. On-the-road drivers’ training is available for high school students to obtain a PA Driver's License. Information/application process for these services: Staff assisted services and applications are available by appointment only at 150 West 13th Street, Jim Thorpe.
